40 Winks
- Alundra
- Some people seem to really like it, but I just never got all that captivated by the story. It's most like Zelda 3, but just didn't seem to have the "fun" that Zelda did.
-
Alundra 2
- Arc the Lad: Collection
- Azure Dreams
- Battle Hunter
- Beyond the Beyond
- Blaster Master: Blasting Again
- Blazing Dragons
- Brave Fencer Musashi
- Breath of Fire III
- Arc the Lad: Collection
- Pretty good, although not incredibly great. It seems like things pick up a lot once you can play with building up the Fairy Village. ^^
- Breath of Fire IV
- Learning system is improved from BoF III and the fishing system seems more "realistic", but seems more tedious at times than in BoF III.
-
Bubsy 3D
- Buster Bros. Collection
- Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
- Chocobo Racing
- Chocobo's Dungeon 2
- Chrono Cross
- Buster Bros. Collection
- Although it seemed to try to be large and epic, it seemed like it was missing something in comparison to the origonal Chrono Trigger. Taken as a game by itself, it was good, although the elements system was somewhat lacking, since it always seemed more effective to just use physical attacks.

- Discworld
- Discworld 2: Mortality Bytes!
- Dragon Valor
- Dragon Warrior VII

- Final Fantasy Chronicles (Final Fantasy IV, Chrono Trigger)
- Final Fantasy IX
- Final Fantasy Origins (Final Fantasy I, Final Fantasy II)
- Final Fantasy Tactics
- Final Fantasy VII
- Discworld
- While I won't claim that it's the greatest RPG ever made (or even Square's best release), it is very good. Then again, having a decent plot tends to make any RPG better.
- Final Fantasy VIII
- Didn't care for it as much as the rest of the series. The main redeeming factor that kept me playing was the card game.
-
Front Mission 3

- Legend of Dragoon
- Legend of Legaia
- Legend of Mana
- Lunar 2: Eternal Blue
- Geom Cube
- Lucia was amusing.
- Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete (Collector's Edition)
- Above average story, decent voice-acting for the most part (decent English-speaking voice-actors seem to be somewhat hard to come by for some reason).
-
Master of Monsters: Disciples of Gaia
- Mega Man 8
- Mega Man Legends
- Mega Man Legends 2
- Mega Man X4
- Mega Man 8
- Pretty good gameplay as the Mega Man X series goes. I really have to question Capcom's choices for dubbing the in-game movies, though: how do you cast a woman for the voice of Mega _MAN_!
- Mega Man X5
- Decent gameplay, just didn't seem to stand out much.
-
Mega Man X6
- Monkey Hero
- Monkey Magic
- Monster Ranger Hop-A-Bout
- Monster Seed

- Shadow Madness
- Shooter: Space Shot
- Spin Jam
- Spot Goes to Hollywood
- Star Ocean: Second Story
- Suikoden
- Suikoden II
- Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo
- Monkey Hero
- Great multiplayer fun. While some may criticize the fact that the balance of a game can shift in an instant, I think that's what makes it so much fun.

Swagman
- Tail Concerto
- Tail of the Sun
- Tail Concerto
- Played a few minutes of it -- definitely looks a bit different. Seems to require Subchannel data to run (which at the moment means running from CD instead of ISO). Might get back to this one eventually.
- Tales of Destiny
- Overall a very enjoyable game. Nothing too complex about the gameplay, although the real-time battle system that it shares with some of the other games in the "Tales" series is definitely unique. Probably one of the few games that I've played where the "threat to the world" that was portrayed seemed truly horrible. Going around and talking to villagers in each of the towns near the end of the game might be depressing, but it's definitely a pretty accurate portrayal of how different people might respond to looking around them and seeing that there world very will might end soon.
- Tales of Destiny 2 (Tales of Eternia)
- While the plot doesn't seem to be quite as engaging as Tales of Destiny, the improvements to the game engine (mostly evolutionary rather than revolutionary) make the bulk of the gameplay much nicer. Perhaps the best change is that the AI for your supporting characters seems greatly improved (they no longer just stand there and do nothing if the enemy is "too far away"). Which means that setting all your characters to "Auto" and letting them fight on their own is feasible this time around. Maybe I'm just lazy, but I somehow find the idea of a game that can play itself amusing.

Techmo Stackers
- The Adventures of Lomax
- The Divide: Enemies Within
- The Lost Vikings 2: Norse By Norsewest
- The Misadventures of Tron Bonne
- The Raiden Project
- Thousand Arms
- Threads of Fate
- The Adventures of Lomax
- What I would have to describe as a superb localization by Square. It may not be horribly complex, but it's extremely fun and lighthearted. Plus it's hard to pass up any game that stars a pink-haired girl who wants to take over the world. It's also probably one of the most fun games that I've ever played.

Thunder Force V
- Tobal No. 1
- Top Shop
- Torneko: The Last Hope
- Um Jammer Lammy
- Valkrye Profile
- Vandal Hearts
- Vanguard Bandits
- Wild Arms
- Tobal No. 1
- Overall an interesting change of pace in RPGs -- a bit of a western theme and a good amount of puzzles.

Wild Arms 2: Second Ignition
- Xevious 3D/G+
